A series of steep cliff ridges in heavy mist along Wildcat Beach, Point Reyes National Seashore, California on February 22, 2008. Alamere Falls, visible in the distance, is one of two waterfalls in California that pours out directly into the ocean. The beach should only be hiked at low tide as waves come crashing up to the base of the cliffs during high tide.
